About

This policy applies to apps for Apple platforms and any other apps that may be released.

We take personal privacy seriously. Data processing on the website, in support and in Loop’s optional diagnostic features is described below. When you participate in releases distributed through TestFlight, information may also be processed under that service’s rules.

Website use

This website’s code does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or data collection forms. Fonts, images and scripts are served by the website itself.

When you choose a language, the website stores only that preference in sessionStorage, in your browser, for the tab’s session. It is not sent to an analytics service and can be removed using the language reset button in the footer. Automatic selection uses the languages configured in your browser.

The hosting infrastructure may process technical data, such as IP addresses, request information and access logs, to deliver and protect the website. This is different from advertising tracking. When you open links to the App Store, TestFlight or other websites, those services’ privacy policies apply.

User information

This section of the Privacy Policy explains how we handle user data that may be collected when using the apps (“the Apps”) to improve our products and services.

Content stored in the app

Content created or saved in the app stays on your device and/or in your iCloud, depending on the app. We do not automatically receive this content. If you choose to send a support report, we receive the information you decide to share, as described below.

Feedback and optional diagnostics (Loop)

Technical history on your device

Technical history is optional and off by default. Enabling it records only future events on your device; it does not retrieve previous activity or authorize sending data. The history holds up to 200 technical events from the last 24 hours, with a 256 KiB limit. Expired events are removed while the app runs; if it is suspended, cleanup takes place when it resumes, before the history becomes available.

This history stays in the app’s private storage, outside iCloud and backups, and is never sent automatically. It records technical playback and download categories and states, along with error codes, without URLs, podcast or episode titles, device or accessory names, or session identifiers.

What you choose to send

For each new report, attaching diagnostics and including podcast or episode details are separate choices, both initially off. You can review the diagnostic file before attaching it. It may include device family, system version and build, app language, network type without addresses, audio output type and technical playback, queue and download states, along with local history if enabled. Podcast or episode names and identifiers appear in the report body only when you enable the corresponding option.

Preparing a report does not transmit data. When you send the email, you share your sender address, message content and selected attachments with the developer at [email protected], solely to respond to feedback, provide support and investigate problems. This data is not used for marketing or advertising tracking.

Emails, retention and deletion

Sending uses your chosen email service and the support mailbox provider, subject to their respective privacy policies. Copying or sharing diagnostics also creates a copy outside Loop’s control.

Received emails, sender addresses and attachments are kept in the support mailbox indefinitely, until you request deletion. To request deletion of messages and attachments under our control, write to [email protected] from the same address you used to send the report. Copies and backups held by the email provider follow that provider’s policies and retention periods; Loop does not control those periods.

Control over local history

You can disable or delete technical history in the feedback forms. These actions stop recording, delete local events and remove prepared diagnostics from the current report. Deleting local history does not delete emails already sent or exported copies; deletion of received messages must be requested through the contact above.

Features using Apple Intelligence (Loop)

This app uses Apple Intelligence to provide personalized, intelligent features. Apple Intelligence is designed to protect your privacy at every stage of processing. Your data remains private: Apple Intelligence models run entirely on the device, allowing tasks to be completed without data leaving it, and this app does not collect your personal data when you use these features.

We may update this section of our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any changes, we will publish them on this page and update the Privacy Policy modification date above (the bold text at the beginning of this page).
